For some Notre Dame trans­ fer students, the usual adjust­ ment to a new college has been more complicated than in past y e a r s d u e to th e s e v e re onc a m p u s h o u s in g s h o r ta g e at Notre Dame. To help alleviate the problem, the University and Saint Mary’s allowed some female transfer students to live a t the College’s Regina Hall until rooms opened up in U n iv e r s i ty r e s id e n c e halls. The fifth floor of Regina start­ ed as a com m unity of 20 but has dwindled to 13 as students moved to available Notre Dame rooms.
